For a small and often overlooked country like Slovakia, being recognised on the global stage carries special meaning. It proves that with heart, authenticity, and perseverance, even the quieter corners of Europe can shine brightly.

The event combines scenic drives through picturesque regions, encounters with local culture, an exhibition of rare historic vehicles and a gathering of friends and enthusiasts.

Forty carefully selected automobiles come mainly from Czechoslovak garages, with some of these remarkable cars having taken part in renowned events such as Pebble Beach, Chantilly Arts & Elegance and Villa d’Este. This unique selection creates a journey filled with breathtaking views and an unforgettable atmosphere.

The year 2025 marked the inaugural edition of the Concours of Slovakia, establishing an exclusive showcase of world-class collector’s gems in the region.

Designed to follow international standards and judged by renowned experts from the automotive world, it set the foundation for what will become a tradition in the years ahead. Participating vehicles were divided into six thematic classes, with a Class Winner selected for each one. These classes were thoughtfully curated, each built on connections between models, marques, body shapes, or provenance, highlighting both shared heritage and unique distinctions within the automotive world.

Concours of Slovakia is the celebration of exceptional vehicles that represent the finest in classic car artistry. Among the awards presented, the most prestigious honors celebrate cars that combine historical significance, flawless restoration, and timeless elegance, showcasing the very best of automotive heritage.

The 2025 Best of Show award, the pinnacle of the concours, was presented to the 1934 Bugatti Type 57 Ventoux. Finished in Ettore Bugatti’s favorite color combination of yellow and black, this remarkable car comes from the Czech Republic and was meticulously restored by its owner, embodying elegance, historical value, and perfect condition.
